Singer Mika Singh who performed at Wedding reception of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja on Tuesday has said that actor Anil Kapoor is really good host.
Mika Singh was interacting with media along with model Aarti Khetarpal and Singer Madhu Valli, when they launched latest song ‘Sama – The Summer Love’ on Wednesday in Mumbai.
On Tuesday night, Mika Singh performed various songs at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception and several videos of wedding reception gone viral on social media where it can be seen that Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor were dancing there heart out along with newly wedded couple, sharing his experience of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception, Mika said, “ I will never forget yesterday’s party in my entire life because it was one of the biggest day of my life. Anil Kapoor told me to perform at Sonam’s reception around one and half month ago so, I promised him that I will be there on that day. He is really nice husband, brother, father actor and host.”
“When I was performing on stage Shah Rukh bhai (Khan) and Salman bhai (Khan) came their on stage and took whole atmosphere of the reception to another level . It is very difficult to make two superstars dance together on the stage by remembering both of their songs. Both of them were dancing on stage for almost 1 hour then, Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh and arjun Kapoor did lot of fun on stage while performing. I performed there almost two and half hours continuously. My wish best wishes to Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. Both were looking really fantastic together at their reception”
When asked Mika whether Salmam Khan should also get marry, Mika said, “I think Salman bhai (Khan) is ultimate human being. He is really good handsome and down to earth individual and when he sings, he looks really cute so, yesterday he didn’t let me sing and sung all the songs by himself by grabbing microphone from my hands. I think he is the real king. Earlier, King used to have so many girlfriends so, I don’t think he needs anyone. Each girl wants to marry Salman Khan so, my best wishes to my brother that soon, he gets a beautiful girl for marriage”
Talking about his latest produced song ‘Sama – The Summer Love’ which is recreation of popular Kishore Kumar song ‘Sama Hai Suhana’ (film – Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani) Mika said, “Today, we are launching Madhuvalli. She is very good and talented singer. She is from Washington DC. Last year, we organized a talent hunt through Mr. Manish Sood that time, I told him that I am looking for a good talent from United States then, we hosted a talent hunt in which lot of singers, actors, composer, writers, directors and model participated through that, we found madhuvalli.”
“She doesn’t know Hindi so, with lot of efforts we taught her Hindi but she has sung this song really well. It’s a beautiful and colorful song sung by Kishore Kumar of which, Music and Sound & Sa Re Ga Ma HMV both have recreated a remix version. I am sure youngster will like this song. Through my venture Music and Sound, we will try to launch maximum amount of Indian talent across the globe be it form United States, Canada or India.”
When asked Mika what kind of challenges he faced when he was producing ‘Sama – The Summer Love’, Mika said, “Today’s generation like to listen new sound, music and voice. It’s already a hit and popular song. We had meeting with Sa Re Ga Ma when we decided to recreate this song because original rights of the songs is with Sa Re Ga Ma then , we both together decided to launch this song. Today’s generation likes to listen this kind of beat which have hip hop element and glamorous video. They are used to listen to normal Indian way of singing but when you sing same song in western style then it brings new feel in the song”
‘Sama- The Smuuer Love’ is produced by Mika Singh’s Music and Sound and sung by American based model and singer Madhu Valli. Sumit Bharadwaj has directed the music video. Madhu Valli, Aarti Khetarpal and Raika Khan has featured in the song along with Mika Singh.
