Arshad Warsi hosted a special screening of Golmaal Again for his family and friends here in Mumbai. During his media interaction, the actor talked about his upcoming projects, which includes Dhamaal and Munna Bhai.
“Dhamaal shooting will start first, and then Munna Bhai shooting will start. I am working with Ajay again in Dhamaal. The script of Munna Bhai is also complete and I think we will start shooting next year. In the meantime Sanjay Dutt Biopic will also release” said Arshad Warsi.
Tisca Chopra and Maria Goretti were also spotted at the special screening and both were excited about the movie.
“I think the movie has minted 37 crores on the first day, the movie will do a great amount of business, it is very good for the industry and I am very happy for my friend Arshad Warsi. It is one of the most successful franchises and I am very happy that finally there is a big success in 2017” said Tisca Chopra.
VJ turned Celebrity Chef and Maria Goretti said she Golmaal Franchise has a pretty good reputation and she expects nothing but madness and fun.
“I think Golmaal has got a pretty good reputation; it is Dhamaal and total Dhamaka, so I am expecting Golmaal Again as entertaining as well. Rohit Shetty has worked for really long on all the Golmaal Series, so I expect nothing but madness from all these boys. I am very fond of all of them” added Maria.
Golmaal Again clashed with Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar at the box-office, and Actor Arshad Warsi indirectly admits that the numbers at box-office had been even higher if they have gotten more screens.
“I knew that people are going to love the film, but I didn’t have an idea about the numbers but if we have gotten more screen the numbers would have been higher. I am very happy about the numbers” added Arshad.
“Total Dhamaal” will be helmed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria. It features Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Aashish Chaudhary in lead roles.
“Munna Bhai” reunites Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in Rajkumar Hirani directorial. The film will be produced by Vinod Chopra Productions.
