On Tuesday, Shiv Darshan, son of filmmaker Suneel Darshan interacted with media ahead of his film ‘Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha’s release. While speaking to the media, Shiv revealed that Suneel Darshan never scolded him as a father but as a director he used to scold Shiv on film’s set.
Shiv Darshan debuted in Bollywood with Karle Pyaar Karle which was produced by his father, talking about working with his dad who has directed superstars like Akshay Kumar, Karishma Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, Shiv said, “I got the opportunity to learn a lot under him. As a director, he brings out best performance from the actors in minimum time. He is very precise and knows what he wants.”
He added, “As a son, he never shouted at me but during the shooting of the film, if I used to any acting or technical mistake then he used to scold me in front of everyone on the sets”.
Talking about the movie, he said, “It’s a whole wholesome entertainer. It has romance, drama and suspense. This film has music of legendary composer Nadeem and the musical album, there is not any item number but all songs of the film are melodious and beautiful. It’s a very relatable love story and I feel audience will be able to connect with this film.”
Talking about his character in the film, Shiv said, “My character Dev is very intense and mature person in the film. He immensely loves his girl-friend which is played by Natasha. He has poetic way of saying things which makes this character very interesting.”
Apart from Shiv Darshan, this film marks debut of Natasha Fernandes and it also stars Upen Patel in lead role. It is directed by Suneel Darshan.
Ek Hassena thi Ek Deewana Tha is releasing on 30 June, 2017.
