Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali organized for a combined press conference to talk about the release of both films on Friday. During the interaction, Kumar said, at the moment the stake of Padmaavat is much more higher than Pad Man.
On Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s request, Akshay Kumar decided to postpone the release of his upcoming film, Pad Man to 9th Feb.
Akshay was asked about the possibility of Padmaavat postponing than Padman, he said, “It is very essential that they release it as quickly as possible and I understand that. The point is not about fighting or clashing. I can tell you that we can both easily release our films on the same day. There are around 5000 theaters and we can both share it. But at the moment the stake of their film is much more higher than mine. He is a very personal dear friend of mine, so when he asked I wanted to do it.”
