Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” is based on the life of former athlete Milkha Singh and featured Farhan Akhtar in the title role. It garnered huge acclaim from both the critics and the audience.

I would like to say that there were many films that were shortlisted for it, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag‘, ‘The Lunchbox‘, ‘Ship Of Theseus‘. I think we deserved but it didn’t happen.

Divya Dutta told reporters here Sunday at the red carpet of Jagran film festival Sunday.

But Divya Dutta is also happy for the Gujarati film “The Good Road” that has been chosen as India’s entry for the best foreign film at the Oscars.

She wishes luck to the National Award winning film.

I am wishing ‘The Good Road‘ all the very best. We are representing India with that film so I would like to wish that film all the very best.

The Good Road” was selected over 21 films including “English Vinglish“, Malayalam film “Celluloid” and Bengali film “Shabdo“.
