Bollywood mourns the death of Raj Kapoor’s wife Krishna Raj Kapoor, the most respected lady passed away on Monday morning due to cardiac arrest. She was 87.
Sharing on Twitter, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news and expressed his grief. He wrote, “Legendary Raj Kapoor ji’s wife #KrishnaRajKapoor ji passed away today morning. Condolences to the family. RIP”
Famous film critic Anupama Chopra also shared on Twitter, “She had such an uncommon elegance and warmth. My mom wrote Prem Rog for RK. She told me many stories of Krishna Ji’s affection, hospitality & impeccable style. The original woman in white! #KrishnaRajKapoor”

Krishna Raj Kapoor, who tied the knot with Raj Kapoor in May 1946, is survived by Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Ritu Nanda, and Reema Kapoor.
The last rites will be performed at Chembur crematorium.
