Stars come and go. There are many stars who made their big in their own way but now they are gone and its slightly a disappointment for their fans.

Last film: Apne which came in 2007, with his brother Bobby Deol and their father Dharmendra. It was a family bound film.

Claim to fame: When he began his career in Bollywood; it was his father’s name that backed him. His major moment as an actor came with his home production Ghayal (1990), for which he won the National Award for best actor (special jury award).

Upcoming projects: He is directing and acting in the “The Man” with Shilpa Shetty .

Amisha Patel
Amisha Patel at Bharat Dorris makeup week in Hotel Rang Sharda on 12th Feb 2009 (11).JPG Last film: Bhool Bhulaiyaa was her last film, which released way back in 2007 (but she was seen on-screen last year in a yellow dress for the item song Lazy Lamhe from Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic). The last film in which her acting was appreciated was Gadar Ek Prem Katha.

In spite of debuting with the super hit Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai in 2000, Amisha has not been able to make it big in Bollywood.

Claim to fame: In July 2004, Amisha sent a legal notice to her father Amit Patel for mismanaging her accounts and assets amounting to Rs 120 million and demanded the money back. She dated director Vikram Bhatt for five years and they broke up in 2008.

Upcoming projects: Patel will be seen in two comic films, Run Bhola Run and Chatur Singh Two Star; both of which are scheduled to release in summer this year. Patel has also signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films; one of them will be directed by Shaad Ali.

Uday Chopra
Last film: Neal N Nikki (2005) was the last film in which Uday was seen playing a lead role. He did work in some other flicks but went unnoticed due to presence of big stars.

Claim to fame: He is the son of Yash Chopra and brother of Aditya Chopra and is trying to earn his own place in the industry as compare to his family but still not able to make big. Though he was launch through Mohabattein (2000) by his father Yash Chopra only but still awaiting for success.

Upcoming projects: His next release is Hook Ya Crook.

Last film: Hijack, which released last year, ended up more like a suicide mission at the box office.

Claim to fame: She is the daughter of superstar Dharmendra and dream girl Hema Malini. Still in search of fame, Esha has failed to be recognized even after doing a bikini scene in the super hit Dhoom (2004).

Upcoming projects: She is set to star in her mother’s next directorial venture with Rekha and Abhishek Bachchan. There is also a film in which Esha and her mother will be starring together for the first time. She’ll be seen next in Raftaar 24×7 this year.

Last film: Her last film was Aaja Nachle (2007). Before that, she starred in Devdas in 2002 which was her comeback film after marriage and motherhood. She won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her depiction of Chandramukhi in the film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In 1999, she married Sriram Madhav Nene, an Indian doctor who resides in USA.

Claim to fame: She shot to stardom with her item number Ek Do Teen in Tezaab (1988), which is popular till today. She received the Padma Shri in 2008, India’s fourth highest civilian award by Government of India.

Upcoming projects: She has none and as of now just reading scripts

Sridevi

Sridevi at Max Stardust Awards on 15th Feb 2009 (73).JPGLast film: Her last film was Judaai (1997) with her brother-in-law Anil Kapoor. After that, the actress has kept out of the limelight.

Claim to fame: Sridevi believes in living large and doing things her own way. That is why, at the peak of her career in 1996, she chose to wed the much-married Boney Kapoor.

Upcoming projects: Rumors of her making a comeback in a film produced by husband Boney Kapoor, Mr.India sequel were doing the rounds, though it is still not certain whether they will hold true.
