December 16, 2010 : Bengali film industry’s most talked about onscreen pair Dev and Subhasree will be back again next year. It has been more than a year that the actors have made an onscreen appearance and audiences are eagerly anticipating the release of their next film together. According to reports from the Bengali film industry, Dev and Subhasree have been roped in a Sujit Mondal project. Confirming the news to the media is the director himself who says that he had always wanted to work with the duo after watching their onscreen chemistry in their first film together ‘Challenge’. Therefore now that he had a script in hand which would do justice to both actors, he decided to approach them and also got their approval for his yet to be titled venture.
The upcoming Bengali film will be a romantic crime thriller. It tells the story of a criminal and his journey towards finding his lady love. Quiz Dev about what excites him the most about the future project and he spontaneously replies that while working with Subhasree again will be fun, it is the action sequences in the film that he is looking forward to. Dev promises to present before the Bengali audience something that they have not seen on the Bengali screen before.
Subhasree on the other hand describes Dev as an excellent costar. Now with so much praising going around, the upcoming Sujit Mondal project sure looks like a hat trick winner for Dev and Subhasree.
