October 12, 2010 : There are many Bollywood actors, who have turned producer while acting in movies. Some of them have tasted success like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Now, the latest entry in this bandwagon is model turned actor Dino Morea.
The 34-year-old actor started his acting career with the movie ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’ opposite Rinkie Khanna in 1999. It doomed at the Box Office but the actor got another good offer in 2002 to act opposite Bipasha Basu in Raaz.
Dino Morea was quoted saying that he has taken this decision to turn a producer after acting in a number of Hindi films. The actor said that he is planning to make a romantic Hindi movie and the cast is being finalized. The actor said that he is expecting to start this project from January but did not disclose any details.
Some of the noted films of Dino are Acid Factory, Sssshhh…, Rakht, Baaz: A Bird in Danger and Aksar. He was recently seen as a contestant in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 3.
Dino was seen only in one movie in 2010 and it is Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra starrer ‘Pyaar Impossible’. This film also failed to make a mark at the Box Office. So, Dino is probably trying to give a new twist to his dooming career!
