Emraan Hashmi Join Hands to Raise Emergency Fund for Cancer

Actor Emraan Hashmi joins fund raising initiative to raise awareness and emergency fund for little children to battle cancer.

The actor announced about the initiative by releasing a small video on his social media account. Emraan Hashmi captioned the video, “I am taking #1SmallStepForCancer on. Starts 6th September. @1SmallStep”

In the video, Emraan is seen saying, “Hi this is Emraan Hashmi, let’s together take one small step to help little children, who are suffering from cancer.”

The initiative’s goal is to improve survival rate of child cancer in India by building an Emergency Fund that will be utilized to reduce abandonment rates amongst low income families. Fundraiser campaign starts on Wednesday 6th September, 2017.

We all know about the personal battle Emraan is passionate about the cause of cancer, as his son Ayaan, was diagnosed with first stage cancer at the age of four in early 2014 but with right treatment the actor and his family fought the battle and won.
Emraan also penned a book to help raise awareness about the disease and share their story, Hashmi came out with a book titled “The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer” last year. It chronicles his career, family, and the birth of his son, cancer and treatment after that.

On work front, Emraan Hashmi is currently enjoying his success of his outing Ajay Devgn, Baadshaho. The movie is directed by Milan Luthrai, also starring Ileana Dcurz, Esha Gupta, Sanjay Mishra and Vidyut Jammwal in pivotal roles.
