Shaan and Salim Merchant were present at the Big Fm friendship day special, where Salim said, Everyday is Friendship day for us.
When asked how they used to celebrate friendship day as kids or even now, Salim said I don’t believe in friendship day. Every day is friendship day for us. Its good the world has set out a day for Friend to celebrate but honestly you don’t need to set a day apart for it.
Shaan further adds, “I guess when we were kids, Friendship day wasn’t a big deal we didn’t even know about it, I just found out, I only knew Valentine’s day,” (Laughs)
They also revealed that the two have known each other since before they became a part of the music industry. They even worked in a small band together with common friends, and they used to play cricket together.
When asked how the live show with Red Fm will be Shaan said, “We didn’t get a chance to talk about friendship ever before this on any platform. Many people might not even know that we are friends. So this is a very great opportunity for us to go back memory lane and talk about music and more.”
Shaan was recently in news for a debuting in a web series when asked about the same the singer said, “What is this news. I have no idea about it. Which web series is this? I wasn’t told anything about it. I was shocked myself when I read the news, it’s all rubbish. Maybe it is about the Pakistani Actor Shaan.
Salim will be working on future projects like 102 Not Out starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in 2017 and Aiyaary directed by Neeraj Pandey in 2017.
