Aamir Khan who is gearing up for ‘Thugs of Hindustan‘ said working with Amitabh Bachchan made him nervous as his long time fan.
Aamir Khan interacted with media at the launch of smart phone ‘V11’ by Vivo on thursday.
Aamir then talking about working with Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ for the first time which also made him forget his line. “I have been a huge fan of Mr. Bachchan all along. So it was very exciting and finally when I was in front of him on the first day of rehearsal, it was such a fanboy moment for me. I couldn’t speak properly, couldn’t remember my lines and was all over the place. The real fun part about the job for me was everyday of shooting I sat next to him and worked with him. Actually everyday of the shooting has been a fanboy moment for me.”
Everyone see Aamir as a perfectionist and when asked how is a perfectionists daily routine he said, “My everyday life is far from being perfect I am extremely chaotic, I get lost in my head. When I am sitting for a meeting which is supposed to be for one hour it usually goes on for two. So my day usually goes long then I intent it to be. I don’t see myself as others do. I see myself as someone who is trying to learn. Each film that I do, each genre that I work with, or whether it is Paani foundation, it is always a learning experience for me. I see myself as someone who is a learner and has a curious mind. To me everything is new and I am trying to learn from it”
Talking about his upcoming release ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ Aamir said he too feels nervous but also has a solution now. “My film release is two months away and I am still nervous. But after i did 3 idiots I got a nice little solution that absolutely works. You take your right hand and put it on your heart and say all is well.”
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ is a fantasy film, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Shashank Arora and Jackie Shroff along with Aamir Khan.
Produced by Yash Raj Films the film is slated to release in Nov 2018.
