Manushi Chhillar said she feels like she didn’t get to live the full journey of Miss India but was excited to see who will represent India in Miss World this year.
Manushi interacted with media at the Grand Finale of Femina Miss India on Tuesday.
When asked she feels about passing on the Miss India crown, she said, “I am not mentally prepared for sure, It just seems like yesterday I became Miss India and the moment I realized I was already Miss world. I somewhere feel that I didn’t get to live the full journey of Miss India but I am even excited to meet all the girls and see who will represent us in Miss world now. There is going to be a lot of expectations this year.”
Talking about her past year of being the Miss World, Manushi said, “The past year was a big adventure and the growth has been beyond my imagination. I couldn’t have imagined after a year i will be standing here and will be passing that crown. Its been the best year of my life.”
Manushi who featured in the new Malabar Golds Ad film with Kareena Kapoor said she loves being in front of the camera, “As off now for 6 months i am still the Miss world, so I want to focus on that. Of course I do enjoy being in front of the camera, it is something i have discovered and am still discovering because I am still very new to this. I am going to take things as they come and if and when i have to take a decision i will follow my heart.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Madhuri Dixit Nene performanced at the finale while Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and filmmaker Karan Johar were the hosts at the event. Alog with Manushi, Irrfan Pathan, K.L. Rahul, Kunal Kapoor and Malaika Arora were present as the judges.
