Kartik Aaryan graced the prestigious Lux Golden Rose Petal Award Show late night here in Mumbai. During his media interaction, the actor shared his thoughts on “He For She” theme.
The third edition of Lux Golden Rose Awards celebrates women like never before by keeping this year’s award show theme after the campaign, which was concluded last night here in Mumbai.
Talking about the theme and campaign for women empowerment and equality, Kartik Aaryan said, “I think it is a great initiative. I mean standing up for women is really good and He For She, is not just She For She, it is also He For She, and I am a part of it and I am really happy that something like this is happening”
Recently Sara Ali Khan expressed her desire to date Kartik Aaryan on the Koffee with Karan talk show. So we asked Kartik about his thoughts, the actor got shy and coy.
He said, “I don’t know what to say to that…all I can say is that she is very pretty and I am really looking forward to her film. I don’t think she said anything about the date…did she…well, I would love to drink a coffee”
The news was viral that Kartik Aaryan refused to appear on Koffee with Karan show as he wished to do the show solo but makers refused the demand.
Refuting the rumors about the feud with Karan Johar, actor Kartik said, “I don’t know about coming on Koffee With Karan. And as for the rumors are concerned, that never happened. It is a rumor which started by itself and I don’t think there is a need to comment on it”
On the work front, Kartik just wrapped his first outing with stunning Kriti Sanon, titled Luka Chuppi.
Talking about the film, Kartik quipped, “Shooting for Luka Chuppi is complete and the film will release next year, in the first half. We have shot the film in Mathura and Gwalior, which happens to be my hometown. So it is the first time I shot in Gwalior and I am really forward to the release of the film”
The film is a romantic comedy film directed by Laxman Utekar. It stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. It tells the story of a television reporter in Mathura who falls in love with a headstrong woman.
