Hera Pheri 4: Can Abhishek Bachchan Match Up To The Akshay Kumar Act?

Published on

November 29, 2010 : Filmmaker Priyadarshan has given us all-time funny movies and the Hera Pheri series is one of his best comedy collections. The trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty gave us a sort of the first laugh riot in 2000 and then the second movie continued the fun journey with Phir Hera Pheri in 2006.

Now, the third movie is going to start but sans the original trio. The third movie is titled Hera Pheri 4 and it will star Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar and Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar have their own style of comic timing and they have proved it in various films. But, Abhsihek Bachchan is comparatively new in this genre. He has done a bit of it in Dostana but it was just a part and Hera Pheri is already a settled comedy and it will be quite tough for the actor to live up to the audience expectations.

The chemistry of Akshay, Sunil and Paresh Rawal was no doubt watch worthy. Now, will the new sets of actors be able to recreate the magic. Can Abhi match up to the charm of comedy king Akshay Kumar, who brings out the comic moments so naturally?

Well, if Abhishek has been signed for the movie then the makers must have seen some spark in him so we can just wait for the movie to hit the screens. Abhishek was quoted saying that the film will go on floors next month.

On his latest venture, junior Bachchan said that he does not sign the films considering their genre. We hope his confidence brings out some real funny performance too.
