Kirti Kulhari has started her carrier with modeling in Jan 2007 will be seen in an upcoming film “Khichdi” in her new looks. The entire film is around her character and she is playing the lead role in the film. The best part is, she is the only one from Khichdi family in the main lead called “Parminder”.
Though she is the part of the Punjabi family of 60 members and the name of all 60 members are Parminder in the film. She is waiting for the affirmative response from the audiences as this is her first film. She is very excited about the film as she always wanted to work in the films but at the same time she is very anxious about it as she habitually worked for the TV commercials for the span of two and a half years. Kirti belongs to Pilani in District Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.
Kirti Kulhari initially started from modeling, then she is indulged in about 30 TV commercials and advertisements but she knew that it was just a means to an end which is films. She loves acting, singing and dancing. Some of the known television commercials where she has shot are lotus mutual funds, Videocon air conditioner, travel guru, parachute hair oil, ICICI prudential, Kaya Skin, Frankfinn Airhostess academy, Close up. I guess now you remember who is she? She has also shot an ad with Saif Ali Khan in Taj Mahal tea and with Ranbir Kapoor in the ad of Virgin mobile.
She has also acted in many plays like “Chinta Chod Chintamani” – family drama comedy, “Shehenshah of Azeemo” – children’s play and sakharam binder where I played a role of “champa” – a satire on the Indian society. Even she has done about 45 shows all across Mumbai including 30 times at prithvi theatre over a period of 1 yr.
Kirti is also featured in a music video of Abhijit Sawant called “Junoon” in August 2007 and also on the cover page of Cosmopolitan magazine in the December 2008 issue. She has worked very hard for her film and she have a few more lined up after this. She is also doing two films “Choti si baat” with Karan Oberoi from A Band of Boys and second film is “Shaitan.”
