Model turned actress Sana Khan talked about her upcoming film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha in which she is playing a small part opposite Akshay Kumar in a media interview on Wednesday in Mumbai. During an interview she stated that she always wanted to be part of Neeraj Pandey film.
When asked her about the movie, She said, “The topic of the film is ‘Swachch Bharat’ which is amazing and when I got the opportunity to play small part in the film then I thought that I have to do this film because there are certain films, where you doesn’t think about whether you are doing a lead role or length of your character. When you see film like Baahubali, most actors wished to see be part of that movie”
Talking about working with Neeraj Pandey, she said, “ I am huge fan of Neeraj Pandey films be it Baby , Special 26 or MS Dhoni and I am also huge admirer of Akshay Kumar. I used to see all his film in my growing up days so when you work with such credible people then it also helps to grow as an actor and I also wanted to dabble in various roles kind of roles because generally people consider you only doing glamorous roles so I wanted to break that perception about me and when I got the opportunity to work with Neeraj Pandey, I grabbed it with both hands as I always wanted to work in Neeraj Pandey film.”
Talking about her character in the film, she said, “I am playing Akshay Kumar’s girlfriend in the film. It’s a cute character and it is presented it in very nice and romantic manner. I think people are going to like it”.
Talking about working with Akshay Kumar, Sana said, “He is amazing. He really made me comfortable while shooting the film. We did lot of rehearsals but I think it took me some time to impersonate romantic scenes with him but I learned a lot while shooting of the film”.
Talking about her future projects, she said, “There are few things which I am working on and very soon I will make official announcement about that”.
Sana Khan was last seen in Wajah Tum Ho which released in 2016.
