Aamir Khan who attended the Secret superstar success party on Thursday during media interaction said, he is very proud of Advait Chandan.
“I am very happy for Advait and so glad that his first step in the industry was fantastic. He has made such an amazing film which is being loved by people all around. People have started to appreciate him as a writer and as a director. I am very proud of him.” said the Secret Superstar actor and producer Aamir.
director and writer Advait, was asked who would be like to work with next, he said, “I really hope Aamir sir directs and I can be his AD (Assistant Director). While shooting for ‘Taare Zameen Par’ I was an assistant in production, working under Kiran Ma’am. So I really am waiting for Aamir sir to direct. That is something I would love to do.”
When asked if he is working on a sequel for Secret Superstar Advait said, “I think this is a good end to the story so we are not thinking about a sequel. I hope the message that we have tried to give out through the film, has reached everyone. “
Chandan said he would love to direct Aamir Khan as a lead actor. “I feel like I directed Aamir sir in a very small role and I wish I would do a big film with him where he is the lead role.”
‘Secret Superstar’ is a story of a girl who dreams big to be a singer, but is held by the pressure of her family, therefore, secretly reaches her audience on social media. The role of the aspiring singer has been played by Zaira Wasim.
