Actress Ishita Shamra is nowadays busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Firangi’. She attended store launch of Gitanjali Jewellary on Friday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Ishita stated that she feels fortunate to work with Kapil Sharma in ‘Firangi’
Talking about working with Kapil Sharma in ‘Firangi’, Ishita said, “I was very excited to work with him because what we see on television, we thought same fun we would be doing on the sets of film with Kapil. It was 83 days of non-stop laughter. He used to play lot of pranks on me and he is someone who always makes people laugh and it’s a really nice thing so I feel fortunate to work with him in ‘Firangi’ where I had great time shooting”
Talking about her character in the film, Ishita said, “I am playing character of Sargi in the film. She is simple village girl. This film is set in 1920s so the kind of body language that era’s women used to have is very different from the contemporary world so I had so much fun playing that character. For the shooting of the film, I first time visited Punjab and the weather food and people of Punjab were amazing so all and all it was learning and enriching experience for me as an actor”
Talking about music of the film, Ishita said, “All songs of the film has been released and I think all songs are beautiful and even background score of the film is lovely”
Talking about fondness for jewellary since she came for store launch of jewellary brand, Ishita said, “I love jewellary. I feel not a single would deny her love for jewellary. I love wearing chunky earrings which we launched today and they are simple and delicate. I am glad that I came here at this event and now I am planning to take some home”
‘Firangi’ stars Kapil Sharma, Ishita Dutta, monica Gill, Aanjjan Srivastav in key roles.
It is being directed by Rajiv Dhingra and produced by Kapil Sharma.
‘Firangi’ is releasing on 1st December, 2017.
