I hope to always follow my heart says Kareena Kapoor Khan

After filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Neha Dhupia, Kareena Kapoor Khan will now turn an RJ. The actress at the show launch said, she hopes to always follow her heart.

The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ star was present at the launch of her Ishq 104.8 Fm show, titled, ‘What Women Want’ on Tuesday in Mumbai.

Kareena’s show ‘What do you want’ will talk about what women’s hopes, dreams and expectation from society. When asked what Kareen herself wants she expressed, I have always been someone who wanted to follow her heart. When I was getting married people told me not to because it will end my career. But even after getting married I feel like I am working more. So I hope I will always follow my heart, that’s what I want for myself.”

What Women Want’ will see guests like Sister Karishma Kapoor, Tinder India CEO Taru Kapoor, Sunny Leone and many more. The ‘Udta Punjab‘ actress said she is still recording the show and there will be many more guests that are may or may not be celebrities.

Talking about her expectation for the show and her debut as an RJ, she said, “I would love to know the reaction but I am here for the women and I am here to talk about women and I am here because I am proud women and I would love to represent all us gorgeous women out there.”

Kareena will be next seen in Karan’s period drama ‘Takht’ starring alongside Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor among others.

The film is primarily a story of two brothers Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh while Kareena will be seen as Ranveer sister, Alia Bhatt will play Ranveer’s love interest.

Takht is scheduled for a 2020 release.
