Fatima Sana Shaikh who started her Bollywood career with Dangal said, she might end up doing action films only.
Fatima interacted with media at ta special screening of her Dangal co star Sanya Malhotra’s Pataakha on Thursday. Their costar actor Aamir Khan was also present at the screening.
Talking about taking on another action based role in her second film after Dangal when asked about her experience she said, “I think I will always end up doing actions films. It did take me alot time to prepare for thug but I did enjoy it.”
The ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ makers released the film’s full length trailer on Thursday. When talking about the trailer response and working with superstar Amitabh Bachchan she said, “I am glad to hear that people are enjoying the trailer and hearing that has relieved some of my tension. About working with Mr. Bachchan, I never felt pressured when working with Amitabh sir. He is very supportive and helpful. He used to rehearse with us before scenes and has been very helpful throughout the film’s shooting.”
When asked about her Dangal co-star Sanya’s film and if she has seen the film’s trailer she said, “I really enjoyed the trailer of ‘Pataakha’ and I am really happy for Sanya. I am sure she has done a great job in film because she is an amazing actress.Radhika is also good and I am a huge fan of Vishal Sir, so I am very excited about it.”
Thugs of Hindostan is made on a budget of over Rs 300 crore, is the costliest film that will come out of Yash Raj Films.
The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805. The Fantasy entertainer stars Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and British actor Lloyd Owen in the pivotal roles.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie releases on 8th November 2018.
