Indu Sarkar’s director Madhur Bhandarkar, appalled by the censor board decision

Indu sarkar, starring Anupam Kher, Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar is a film based on the true events of the 21 month long emergency era from 1975 to 1977, when the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had declared a state of shut down across the country.

On Monday, a special screening held for the censor Board left the director is dismay.

Madhur Bhandarkar, tweeted,” Just Got out of #InduSarkar’s Film Censor screening. Am appalled at the 14 cuts suggested by the committee. Will go to the revising committee.”

The cast was recently seen at The Kapil Sharma Show for promotion. The historical drama surrounded by controversies is set to release on 28th July 2017.
