The news was viral that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif Starring Sooryavanshi will clash with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starring Inshallah as both were slated for Eid 2020 release. But now the makers have reached an understanding and Rohit Shetty directorial will hit the marquee on 27th March 2020.
The cross over franchise film, Sooryavanshi will have a solo release, just like Inshallah.
The superstar Salman Khan took to his social media profile and confirmed the news. He wrote, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… @itsrohitshetty…Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020”
Filmmaker Karan Johar dropped the confirmation on the same. He shared a picture of Salman Khan with Rohit Shetty and wrote, “The ultimate Khiladi & the blockbuster director are arriving on 27th March, 2020 with #Sooryavanshi! Sooryavanshi is an upcoming action film produced by Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar under their banner of Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions in association with Reliance Entertainment and Cape Of Good Films.
It is the costliest cop film ever made in Indian cinema history. The film stars Akshay Kumar in titular role along with Katrina Kaif as the female lead. The film releases on 27th March 2020.
Inshallah is Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt, and it will release on Eid 2020.
