Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma Starring Imtiaz Ali’s next might have name today but the movie was made and promoted for the longest without any title. Infact the movie was earlier titled “The Ring”, later “Rahnuma” but finally “Jab Harry Met Sejal” was finalized.
Interestingly the titled “Jab Harry Met Sejal” also has an interesting story. Young and brilliant actor Ranbir Kapoor recently claimed that he suggested the title to Shahrukh Khan and he wants his dues paid.
The first look of the movie was released on social media by Shahrukh Khan, he tweeted saying, “Just in case Ranbir Kapoor ever claims it… the title Jab Harry met Sejal was never ever suggested by him! So he doesn’t win the Rs 5,000 reward.”
But Ranbir Kapoor was adamant on getting his 5000 from Shahrukh Khan for the title, and now finally SRK has paid RK for JHMS (Jab Harry Met Sejal).
Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor attended Imtiaz Ali’s birthday party last night, where SRK paid RK and posted a picture as proof on his social media account.
SRK posted a picture on his Twitter account, he wrote “Jagga Jasoos we r quits now!!! Hisaab barabar. Give @karanjohar his share for the ‘Jab’ part in JHMS please.”
Looks like this is never ending debate of title, which now has Karan Johar involved in it too, but it is all fun and games and we’re loving it!
Imtiaz Ali directorial “Jab Harry Met Sejal” pairs Shahrukh Khan and Anushak Sharma for the third time. The rom-com is scheduled to release on 4 August 2017.
As for Ranbir Kapoor, the actor is currently promoting his upcoming romantic adventure drama “Jagga Jasoos” opposite Katrina Kaif. The movie is slated for 14 July 2017 release.
