Actor Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starring Jabariya Jodi avoid box-office clash with Sonakshi Sinha starring Khandaani Shafakhana, now releases on 9th August 2019.
The movie was slated to hit screens on 2nd August, however, now the makers of Jabariya Jodi have pushed the film’s release ahead by a week and it will now be coming out on 9th August 2019. The film is based on the real-life instances of groom-kidnapping, a phenomenon that is prevalent in north India.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the new release dates and dropped a new poster on social media as well. He shared, “And here comes the new poster of #JabariyaJodi with the new release date: 9 Aug 2019”
Directed by Prashant Singh, Jabariya Jodi is co-presented by Balaji Telefilms and Karma Media Entertainment. Sidharth and Parineeti had earlier shared screen space in the 2014 film Hasee Toh Phasee.
Jabariya Jodi will now enjoy a solo release. Also, the film will have a holiday advantage of Bakri Eid which is on August 12.
Sidharth is also busy with biopic of late Captain Vikram Batra and Parineeti, on the other hand, will be seen next in Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar, in which she reunites with Arjun Kapoor on screen after having debuted together in Ishaqzaade.
