Jay Bhanushali is all set explore short film format, debut with unusual story titled Suicide Company PVT LTD.
Popular actor Jay Bhaushali has kicked-started his debut short film, titled “Suicide Company PVT. LTD” opposite Swara Bhaskar. During his recent media interaction talked about his role and the film.
“In this short film, I am going through depression and I try to commit suicide many times, only to realize I can’t do it. So I seek help from a professional, who helps me in my suicide. It is an interesting concept, little bit different and it is my first short film. I have never done a short film before. So I am very excited about it” says Jay.
Jay Bhaushali also spoke about recently viral and banned game, The Blue Whale Challenge, which caused massive outcry after children’s started committing suicide.
“More than depression, Suicide is a huge problem. I was talking to Swara about this Blue Whale game, where children’s are excited and given challenges like cut your veins. It is 50 days game and that is depressing that nowadays we have such games coming up. We are banning stupid things but not these games” adds Jay.
The Blue Whale challenge is reportedly a suicide game in which the player is given certain tasks to complete for a period of 50 days and the final task leads to suicide. The player is also asked to share photos after finishing the challenge.
Suicide Company PVT. LTD deals with mental illness. Protagonist (Jay Bhanushali) is undergoing depression and he hires suicide planner (Swara Bhaskar) who helps him to plan his suicide.
It is releasing on 10 September which is world prevention day for suicide.
