Kangana Ranaut who is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Simran’ was present at the song launch of ‘Single Rehne De’. While interacting with media the actress refused to answer questions about her love life.
Kangana at the song launch was asked if she is single in real life or wants to be single like Praful (her character) in the film, she said, “I have answers to all your question but not this one.” Another reporter asked if it is complicated to which Kangana said, “Yes something like that.”
The actress was asked about appearing on Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, the actress said, it’s the producer’s fault. “That is all thanks to him (producer-Sailesh), I had told him to send me anywhere but not for Aap Ki Adalat. Rajat Sir has been asking me to come on the show from last 3 years but I wasn’t ready. But our producer asked me if I am afraid of going on the show, since he said that and I wanted to prove that I am not afraid.”
Since these controversies are coming right before the release of her new film people might think it is a promotional effort when asked to comment on that she said, “If I do interviews when I am supposed to shoot for films people will say that I don’t have anything better to do or I don’t have work so I am doing interviews. And after the shooting is done when I receive a list of interviews that I have to do from Parag Desai (PR) and if I attend them they say I am only going for promotions. So either way it becomes a big deal, how am I suppose to do anything.”
Kangana was also asked if it was necessary to talk about her past relationships and Hrithik Roshan, she said, “ See if I am asked questions I am going to answer, they even asked me about Aditya Pancholi when I was only 16 and now I am 30 Yrs old. If I don’t answer the question that will be in news and even if I do that will be in news too. If I am asked again and again I am going to have to answer, I don’t understand what to do is such situations. I would suggest that don’t call me only for interviews, so then there will be no issues and everyone will be happy.”
The film shows Kangana in the lead role along with Sohan Shah, Esha Tewari Pande, and Manu Narayan. It is about a Gujarati Housekeeping lady in the US who gets involved in a world of crime as she allows her ambitions to get the better of her.
Kangana Ranaut will be seen in the role of Rani Laxmibai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi said she hoped that she would live up to the rebellious legacy of the famous warrior-queen. To be directed by Krish, the film will hit the theatres on April 27, 2018.
Directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by T-Series, Simran is all set to release on September 15, 2017.
