First ever collaboration of Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh, titled Simmba, drops its first look poster and takes the social media by storm!
Ranveer Singh took to his social media account and made the announcement about the project and dropped the first look. He captioned it, “SANGRAM BHALERAO aka #Simmba!!!! #RohitShetty @karanjohar @RelianceEnt @DharmaMovies @RSPicturez”
Ranveer is looking vibrant and happy as Sangram Bhalerao, showcasing his inner persona under the avatar of a ‘notorious’ police officer, with true tapori vibe along with bright red sunglasses and a silver chain, you can’t help but enjoy the first look!
In the first look poster, Ranveer Singh is donning a cop dress, which means he will be seen playing the role of a cop for the first time in his career.
Karan Johar also mentioned the poster and confirmed the release date of the project. He wrote, “28th December 2018!! ROHIT SHETTY will be back!!!! RANVEER SINGH as #SIMMBA”
The film will be produced by Karan Johar and directed by Rohit Shetty, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead as Sangram Bhalerao. It is also reported that Simmba, which is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Temper.
The female lead and other cast are yet to be announced but we are excited about the movie already!
Ranveer Singh is also awaiting the release of highly anticipated and controversial movie, Padmavati, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
