Filmmaker Karan Johar Unveils the latest single from Shekhar Ravjiani, titled Devi, which is an ode to womankind.
In times when crimes against women are rising at an alarming rate, Shekhar Ravijiani’s new track dedicated to womanhood is bound to leave you teary- eyed. The heart warming song will honour every woman on the planet.
Filmmaker Karan Johar shared the link of the song on social media. He wrote, “#Devi, a new single by @ShekharRavjiani Celebrate the presence of every girl and woman in your life with this song.”
In the Hindu culture, goddesses are worshipped. This song draws comparisons between women and the goddesses without whom life on earth would cease to exist.
The singer and composer Shekhar also tweeted about the song on his Twitter account. He captioned it, ““Hazaaron janam, Lakhon acche karam, Phir leti hai janam, #Devi”
The song is titled ‘Devi’ and the lyrics are written by Anvita Dutt, of course crooned by Shekhar Ravjiani and it will touch your heart as well as give you goosebumps, which happened to famous Television personality Mandira Bedi.
