Lust Stories actor Kiara Advani to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in the Telugu film Arjun Reddy Remake.
Produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, Kiara has bagged the Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Ashwin Varde’s Arjun Reddy Remake.
Kiara in a statement said the film could be a game changer for her and “Arjun Reddy has always been one of my favorite films.There are so many shades to the heroine’s character; I’m very excited about it.”
It is said that the film will require Kiara to have several variations in terms of performance as well as look.
Kiara signed for the film early this week and she has already began her creative meetings with Sandeep Vanga. The actress was the makers first choice but the idea fell through when they faced date issues.
Director Sandeep Vanga is of the opinion that, “Kiara epitomizes the female character in the film to the T. She has the perfect combination of innocence (in terms of looks) and maturity (in terms of performance) that’s so important for the character.”
Arjun Reddy Remake will go on floors in early October.
