The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures; the film is a coming-of-age story of two women and is set in Greater Noida.
“Lipstick Under My Burkha” director Alankrita Shrivastava and producer Ekta Kapoor will be reuniting for Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare which features Bhumi Pednekar, Konkona Sen Sharma and Kubbra Sait in the lead. The film went on the floors last week.
Now Kubbra Sait, who had made her Bollywood debut with the Salman Khan-starrer Ready, followed by a special appearance in his Sultan, has joined the woman-centric project and with Bhumi got into action on Wednesday.
After tackling sensitive issues in her prior releases, such as Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Actress Bhumi Pednekar is all set to break the image with her new avatar in “Dolly Kitty Aur Who Chamakte Sitare”.
