Major Productions Houses Take Steps To Ensure Staff Well Being During Economic Crisis

The leading productions houses of film Industry takes appropriate and needed steps to safe guard their employee’s well being by providing them with financial help and safe working environment.

Indian Film Industry is going through the toughest economic crisis, with shoots on hold and releases pushed, cancelled, halted or heading for digital release for cost recovery, the big production houses are trying their best for their work force. While the associations have built up fund raising for the daily wages, studios have kept their employees well being in mind by paying full salaries and jobs intact.

As per industry people, production houses like Zee Music Company, Yash Raj Films, T-Series, Dharma Productions, Maddock Films, and many others have ensured safety and security for all their employees.

During this tough time with pandemic that’s affected the entire world; the film industry has taken a hit to their economy. With news of layoffs and salary cuts in other industry is doing the rounds, Bhushan Kumar, Karan Johar, Dinesh Vijan and such have endured all their employees are paid on time and in full during the entire lockdown and even now where these production houses function with limited staff attendance.
As per sources, “It’s a difficult time. Everyone is worried with releases on hold, films not yet on floors and theatres shut. It is the head of Inn production houses which are being kind and taking care of their employees’ finances. They have sanitised and taken safety precautions too since the time they have started work again.”
