Mamta and Mauji would want to make everyone’s life a bit more colorful: Varun Dhawan

Varun says their characters in Sui Dhaaga wish to make everyone’s life a bit more colorful and give hope.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma interacted with media while they were was present at Wilson College in Mumbai promoting their upcoming film Sui Dhaaga.

Varun when talking about their city tour and why they are yarn bombing the city he said, “What we are doing is called yarn bombing we have gone all around out city for beautification. We are right now outside Wilson College and we also went to bandra near bandstand where we created a miniature sewing machine with Sui Dhaaga and we also went to other locations like Matunga. The thing is, Mumta and Mauji are the kind of characters who would want to make everyone’s life a bit more colorful and they like to give hope to other people.”

Sui Dhaaga costar Anushka also added saying, “What we are trying to do is drench the city in the colors of Sui Dhaaga. We are yarn bombing the town multiple colors.”

Reports suggested that Sharma is dealing with some back pains when asked about the same she said, “I am taking care of myself. When going around for promotion i make sure I don’t try to move my back alot. But with the film release so close and the promotion going on in full swing, you have to be there for the team.”

‘Sui Dhaaga : Made In India’ brings together National Award winning producer-director combo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya. Directed by Sharat Kataria the film stars Varun Dhawan as a tailor and Anushka Sharma as an embroidery craftswoman.

Produced by Maneesh Sharma and presented by Yash Raj Films, “Sui Dhaaga” will release on September 28.
