American singer Nick Jonas is enjoying every bit of being married to Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra, and this latest post is proof of the same.
The singer shared a picture from his Christian wedding on Instagram to celebrate one week of marriage alongside the caption: “One week ago today? @priyankachopra”
In the picture, the couple can be seen cutting their 7-tier wedding cake with a sword-like knife as their friends and family watch on.
The design of the cake was inspired by the art deco style of the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur- the venue of their wedding- and featured a romantic visual of the couple on the crest.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who tied the knot in a Christian ceremony at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace on Saturday, recently graced the Sangeet ceremony of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal in Udaipur.
Apart from social engagements, the couple also graced the cover page of leading fashion and style magazine Vogue.
Priyanka Chopra will soon return to her work commitment and kick-start the shoot for “The Sky in Pink” also starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles.
The biographical drama film directed by Shonali Bose and co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Ronnie Screwvala and Chopra under the banner of RSVP Movies, Roy Kapur Films, and Purple Pebble Pictures. It is based on motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
