Bollywood’s famous choreographer Ganesh Acharya who has made almost every actor and actress on his dance steps is now turning up director with his upcoming film Swami Tinhi Jagacha : Bhikhari.
Whenever Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan come together be it on big screen or in public event they crack up the whole atmosphere with their chemistry and funny antics and Monday’s event was no different. They both launched song ‘Ganpati Deva’ from Ganesh Acharya’s film in Mumbai and while speaking to the media Varun praised Ganesh saying that he is probably the only choreographer who choreograph his songs from his heart and not from mind and that is why he so successful today.
Varun started to address event on lighter note, he welcomed Alia with in Marathi saying, “Ali re ali Alia ali (Alia has come)”
Praising Ganesh Acharya , Varun said, “Masterji (Ganesh) has been biggest part of my life. I know him since my childhood. I have grown up in front of him so right now I am bit emotional launching his film’s song. Many choreographers choreograph songs from their mind but he is the only person who choreographs the song from his heart. He is the biggest devotee of Ganpati (Lord Ganesh) and that I know because he has choreographed one song for me in ABCD 2 on Ganpati’s theme and In that song, he doesn’t allowed anyone to wear shoes on set for 6 days of shooting of the song and that was his only condition while shooting the song. In this song as well, I could see each artist dancing in the song with full passion and not for promotion of the film as it was all coming from within them. He has massive faith on Ganpati and that is reason I know his film and his team will be successful.”
Alia Bhatt also spoke Marathi saying, “Mala Khup Chhan Lagata (I am glad to be present in this event) and that much only I have rehearsed for this event”.
Alia added, “Masterji (Ganesh) is definitely master of his craft as he is the master of expression, dance and heart. I have just started knowing him, me and Varun, both worked with him in Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and at that moment I just thought that I should absorb and grab his talent and go to home in terms of expression, dance and everything. I feel in this Ganpati festive season, this song is going to play everywhere”.
Ganesh Acharya said, “I am really happy that my Ganpati song has been launched by Varun and Alia. We have worked very hard for the film. We are not looking this film as Hindi or Marathi as we have tried to raise the bar and scale of the film. I have seen Varun grown up and today he is launching my song so it is the biggest thing for me”.
Earlier, the ‘Mahurat’ or inauguration event of the film was held in the presence of India’s biggest Superstar Amitabh Bachchan & the youth sensation Tiger Shroff.
Ganesh Acharya earlier had directed Hindi films like ‘Swami’ & ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’.
Swami Tinhi Jagacha : Bhikari revolves around the sensitive relationship between a mother & her son in the backdrop of their business. The film has solid team of actors which include Swwapnil Joshi, Rucha Inamdar, Guru Thakur, Sayaji Shinde, Milind Shinde, Kirti Aadarkar, Sunil Pal & Pradip Kabra.
The film is releasing on 4 August, 2017
