“My First Master Class was Amazing,” said Bhumi Pednekar on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of IFFI 2017.
Actress Bhumi Pednekar hosted a Masterclass on Breaking Stereotypes at IFFI 2017 and had some serious fun during her class.
“My first master class was amazing. First of all, I feel it is such an honor for me, because I am just three films old, and I was invited to conduct a master class at IFFI, the festival has been running for 48 years. I had such an amazing time and the audience was so reciprocating, it was such a fun class and I am glad that they called me” said Bhumi about her Master Class experience.
Bhumi Pedenkar has been a stereotype breaker ever since her debut in Yash Raj Films production Dum Laga Ke Haisha. She later followed it with socially relevant and offbeat movies, like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Shubh Mangal Savdhan.
Further talking about the “Master Class” and its “Topic”, Actress Bhumi Pednekar finds it very relevant to her.
She said, “From my end, honestly, when you are facing a live audience, I don’t think you understand so much because you there is so much going on. But I think the topic I was given, it was very relevant to me, as I the kind of films I’ve done, so there was a lot of connect. It was a great audience, they were reacting to everything I was saying and it was a lot of fun”
Next Bhumi Pednekar will be seen sharing screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput in Sone Chidaiya, which will go on floors next year. The movie will be helmed by Utda Punjab famed director Abhishek Chaubey.
Buzz has it that Sushant and Bhumi, both play dacoits in the film which is based in the 70s.
