Neha Dhupia who is gearing up for the release of ‘Tumhari Sulu’, was present at the trailer launch of the film. During media interaction the actress said, not doing the film would have been the biggest mistake of my life.
“I didn’t realize this before but now after watching the trailer here, I feel if I wouldn’t have done this film, it would have been the biggest mistake of my life.” Said Neha on Saturday during a media interaction.
Dhupia was asked if there is something she wants to change in Vidya’s character Sulu, she said, “I think it is disturbing how nice and innocent Sulu is. Especially for someone like Maria, deep down as much as she is a good person she is running an entire corporate set up, so she is a little more corrupt. Every time Vidya is playing the part you can’t see Vidya at all, you only see Sulu. There are times when you just want to pick her up, cuddle and tell her don’t be so nice it’s not allowed.”
The actress also said Vidya can bring anyone weak in their knees, “The idea of working with Vidya was like ‘Wow I am working with someone is so phenomenal as an actor from our generation’. As weird or as amazing as it sounds, anyone can go weak-kneed around her because she is so good at the craft and she will never make you feel like it.”
‘Tumhari Sulu’ is a comical slice-of-life film directed by adman Suresh Triveni for youth and families. Vidya Balan essays the role of a beautiful, enthusiastic and happy-go-lucky Mumbai housewife whose routine life changes when she unexpectedly lands herself with the exciting job of a night RJ (radio jockey) on a leading radio station.
Presented by T-series the film is scheduled to release on 17th November 2017.
