‘October’ is quite youth centric film says Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt attended Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2017 on Friday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Varun said that his upcoming project ‘October’ is youth centric film.

When asked Varun whether he would like to films for kids, Varun said, “I do films for kids only. My last film ‘Judwaa 2’ was meant for the entertainment of kids. I feel we should definitely make more film for kids and my upcoming film ‘October’ is quite youth centric”.

When asked Varun whether he still feel like a kid at heart, he said, “Absolutely.. I still feel like a kid at heart. With my and Alia’s fist film together ‘Student of the Year’, we formed a bond with kids”

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt completed 5 years in the Hindi films industry as their dubut film ‘Student of the Year’ released in 2012, so when asked Varun and Alia what kind of change they are witnessing in their film journey, to that Alia said, “I feel lots of things have changed and still lots of things haven’t, so you know what I mean”

Varun added, “When our first film ‘Student of the Year’ got released, at that time, we didn’t received critical acclaim but after that Alia received so much critical acclaim and I received love from common audience and kids”
There were reports that Alia and Varun might collaborate again with each other for Karan Johar’s Shiddat, According to the report, the film stars Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi in pivotal roles. It is being said that Varun and Aditya will be seen playing brothers with a tense relationship. Meanwhile, Dutt and Sridevi will be portraying the characters of their parents. The report further states that the film is set in India-Pakistan partition period, so when reporters asked them about the film, Varun refused to answer, he said, “Who told you about that? We don’t know if there is any film being made called ‘Shiddat’.”

Recently, Yashraj Films shared two pictures of Varun from their upcoming film ‘Sui Dhaaga’ where Varun can be seen concentrating on getting the craft of sewing right. It seems the film would see him in a role of a tailor and hence before the film rolls out, he has started his prep-up much in advance. So talking about his look in the film Varun said, “It nice to learn some sewing techniques so now, when I have to do fittings of my cloths, I do it on my own by making dart, so it has come in use for that”

Now, Varun’s upcoming film ‘October’ along with Banita Sandhu will be releasing on 1st June, 2108 and on the hand, Alia’s upcoming film ‘Raazi’ along with Vicky Kaushal is releasing on 11th May, 2018.
