Parul’s Samba performance required the youngster to don a style she has never tried in her entire life. Coming from a middle-class background from Ahmedabad and straight into Bidaaii to play a role almost earmarked for her, this western makeover comes as a complete turnaround. When the ‘Teen deviyan’ asked her how she felt in the red halter dress, Parul earnestly replied “This is the first time I am wearing a dress like this…and I like it!!” Her choreographer Deepak needs to take a bow—first he turned Prachi Desai from a weeping willow into a glamorous winner and now about to take Parul down the same alley.
