Priya Mani Is A Lucky Girl!

Published on

November 18, 2010 : Priya Mani, one of the most happening faces of the South Indian film industry, says she is merely lucky and it is her good luck that has placed her among the top slot among Sandalwood heroines. The dusky beauty says that she has no clue why or how else she could land roles in movies featuring some of the most popular actors in the Kannada film industry.

While many actresses in South India like to venture towards Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema, Priya Mani has surprisingly stuck to Sandalwood in spite of receiving offers from the Tollywood and Kollywood industries as well. Ask her and the actress is quick to reply that the Sandalwood audience has given her a lot of love, in fact the actress has delivered four hits in a span of one year in Sandalwood. Moreover, Sandalwood also gives her the opportunity to work with actors of the stature of Ganesh, Shivrajkumar and Shivanna.

However that definitely does not mean that Priya Mani will remain in the Kannada film industry even if the offers made to her do not excite the actress in terms of the banner, the co-star and also the remuneration. The Malayalam beauty who spent her growing-up years in Bangalore states that she has to take care of the complete package in the film before signing on the dotted line. And that probably is the reason why we did not get to see much of the actress in Bollywood, after her brief stint in Raavan.
