Alia Bhatt is known for her unconventional choice of roles and now the actress has started shooting for a woman-centric film Raazi says the film is gone on floors and shoot is going well.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi is co-produced by Karan Johar under the banner Dharma Productions in association with Junglee Pictures, stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
“Raazi has started. The shoot is going very nice. The shoot will resume again on Monday, than I go into it completely” says Alia on the sidelines of Big Zee Entertainment Awards 2017.
Alia is also roped in for Ayan Mukerji’s next, also starring Ranbir Kapoor, which will go on floors post Raazi, confirms actress.
“I’d starting shooting for film with Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor post Raazi shoot completes” adds Alia.
Raazi, the film will have the actress playing the role of a Kashmiri spy married to a Pakistani military officer played by Vicky Kaushal. The film is based on the book Calling Sehmat by Harinder Sikka,
Alia Bhatt also added that “Award Shows” are like “Parties” which has very element, ranging from meet-and-greet and good performances.
“I think Award functions are very exciting. You come and meet everyone, the whole industry is here. You can interact with everyone and gets to see good performances. So it is like a nice party” said Alia.
Alia Bhatt also took a dig at paparazzi for “Gym” looks, which are turning into “Red Carpet” nowadays.
“Gym is the new Red Carpet these days, so I feel I should only go there only. Heading to gym in different looks and doing a little work out, that’s just our red carpet nowadays” quips Alia.
Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor won the Best Actress and Best Actor for their stupendous acts in Udta Punjab.
