The Collective launches The Spring Summer Collection for 2010 & For first time, International Women’s wear. Mumbai, 15 April 2010 – `THE COLLECTIVE’, a super premium lifestyle retail brand launched by Madura Garments Lifestyle Retail Co. Ltd, part of the Aditya Birla Nuvo, today launched its all-new collection of Fashion Wear for Women as well as their Spring Summer Collection for men, over a night of wine and food and much pizzazz. With the launch of International fashion wear for Women for the very first time and a star-studded line up of International brands exclusively available only at The Collective, Fashion takes a whole new meaning for the women of Mumbai.

The Collective’s key highlight and a first for the store is the launch of Fashion Wear for Women. This is a collection that promises to enthrall and captivate the women of Mumbai with brands such as Lulu Guiness, Rock and Republic, Velvet, Alice + Olivia, True Religion, Ringspun making their entry to the store. The women of Mumbai need not look any further for everything chic to fill their wardrobe with and creating a look that is truly theirs to own. In addition, Indian designers have also found their space at the store with Manish Arora and Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna world famous creations now on sale at The Collective.

The night saw Mumbai’s glitterati raise a toast to a new chapter of uber chic and high fashion in the city. The concept of Live Installation was also on display with models wearing the best the store had to offer. The models looked their dapper best, having being styled by experts from Jean Claude Beguine. By the end of the night, The Collective held true to its ethos that one’s fashion quotient is never only about getting the brands right; it’s also about getting the look right.

The launch drew names like Rocky S, Bikram Saluja, Purab Kohli, Masaba, Aki Narula, Chhaya Momaya, Viveka Babajee and others visiting the store.
