Actress Surveen Chawla interacted with media for the promotion of her upcoming web series ‘Haq Se’ on Thursday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Surveen said that Rajeev Khandelwal is very generous as a co-actor.
Rajeev Khandelwal collaborating with Surveen Chawla in ‘Haq Se’ after their popular soap ‘ Kahiin To Hoga’ so when asked Surveen about experience working with Rajeev Khandelwal, she said, “ During ‘Kahiin To Hoga’, Rajeev was used to treat me like teenager because I was a teenager but now me and Rajeev talk differently then what we used to. He is a great guy and great actor to work with. He is very collaborative, generous and giving as a co-actor. Sometimes I used to awkward to giving suggestion about his own lines and so well he used to take it so that’s beauty about being collaborative as actors and Ken (Ghosh) had a very big role to play in that because most of like this”
Talking about emergence of digital space in Hollywood and in India, Surveen said, “In Hollywood also actors are extensively working in digital medium because it gives them that kind of exposure and they have done that kind of content which may be not feasible for films. An actor is looking for one role which would take his career to next level so it could be on television, films theatre or in digital space. Now Indian filmmakers and actors entering into digital space is great move because they are experimenting in each genre whether it comedy, horror, thriller or romantic so automatically it has immense amount of scope in the times to come”
Talking about her upcoming web series ‘Haq Se’, Surveen said, “It’s been beautiful script for all of us to be a part of because individual characters are written so beautifully and how they intertwine with each other is equally beautiful so I hope when audience will watch the show they will have the same feeling as well”
Surveen Chawla debuted on the small screen with Ekta Kapoor‘s Kahin To Hoga and went on stars in shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kajjal before made her Bollywood debut in Hum Tum Shabana. However, her breakthrough film was Hate Story 2.
‘Haq Se’ is a story of four sisters, Meher, Jannat, Bano and Amal, who live in Kashmir. ‘Haq Se’ is an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women. The series also stars Rukhsar, Simone Singh, Parul Gulati. Aanchal Sharma and Nikeesha Rangwal
