Rajkummar Rao will be seen breaking the mold in his upcoming in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, we have him delivering some really groovy moves in rain dance; now co-actor Kriti Kharbanda gives a little sneak-peek into “Sattu Dance”.
Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda were spotted at a recent social event, where actress talked about “Sattu Dance” which is the signature move Rajkummar Rao’s character in the film.
“There is a special step in our movie, we call it Sattu Dance. And that is Rajkummar Rao’s characters signature step” said Kriti.
“Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana” the film revolves around the story of a couple, Aarti and Sattu, played by Kriti and Rajkummar, who meet for a proposed arranged marriage. But things fall out when an unexpected event takes place on their wedding night and the innocent love story transforms to a revenge saga.
Rajkummar Rao is hopeful that small town story will hit the right notes with the audience. He said, “There is nothing bigger in India than a marriage event, and we have made a very sweet film. There is love story and little drama, set in a small city and we’re very hopeful, let’s see now what happens”
Actor Rajkummar Rao, who recently impressed the audience and critics alike with his performance in Trapped, Behen Hogi Teri, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Newton, also added that the varied characters he plays are already in the script and he follows it.
“It is all there in the script, I don’t have to do anything else. If there is a particular demand of the character, if I have to look a certain way, I transform myself as per the character. I don’t want to force anything like I have to look different, especially not for the heck of it. If my character demands weight gain, I will gain weight or vice-versa” added Rajkummar Rao.
Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is directed by Ratnaa Sinha. It is scheduled to release in India on 10 November 2017.
