27 June’07 Wednesday was the 68th Birth Anniversary of R.D. Burman – the epitome of music. Shemaroo Entertainment has released R.D. Burman’s Song Compilation VCD & DVD value packs as a mark of celebration. The VCD Pack called R.D. Burman – The Immortal Collection, is a 6 VCD Pack totally consisting of 72 immortal R.D.Burman melodies. The songs in each VCD are very beautifully and thoughtfully categorized. VCD 1 is called ‘King of Romance’; VCD 2 is called ‘King of Melody’; VCD 3 is called ‘RD – Asha: The Magical Duo’; VCD 4 is called ‘King of Masti’; VCD 5 is full of Rhythm and VCD 6 showcases Pancham’s various moods.
There are 2 DVD Packs called Ultimate Unremix – Vol 1 & 2 respectively. Each DVD Pack consists of 2 discs, full of alluring R.D.Burman tracks.
