Recreating magic of Salman Karishma and David Dhawan’s from Judwaa into Judwaa 2 has been phenomenal journey says Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez has joined hands with The Body Shop, as its face, for the first ever campaign of its kind for a global ban on cosmetics animal testing on Friday in Mumbai. While talking to media at the event, Jacqueline revealed that, it has been phenomenal journey working in Judwaa 2 creating magic of Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor and David Dhawan.

Jacqueline is reportedly playing Karishma Kapoor’s part in the remake of 1997 super hit Judwaa in Judwaa 2 along with Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu.

Varun, Jacqueline and Taapsee recently completed shoot of original’s film’s iconic song ‘Lift Teri Band Hai’, when asked about shooting experience, Jacqueline said, “It was lot of fun to shoot for. We all went crazy shooting including me, Varun and Taapsee. Recreating magic of Salman, Karishma and David Dhawan again on screen has been a phenomenal journey”

There is also speculation that Remo D’souza is keen to take Jacqueline opposite of Salman Khan in a dance based film and she has already been approached for it, on that Jacqueline said, “If Remo has said that then it must be true”

The Body Shop brand will take the ‘Forever Against Animal Testing‘ (FAAT) campaign to the United Nations, and request an international convention banning cosmetics testing on animals. Through the campaign, the brand is calling out to people, who care about animal welfare, from across the globe to join the cause and sign the petition.

Talking about the initiative, Jacqueline said, “The Body Shop is the most ethical brand in the world. This is an amazing initiative taken over by body shop. We had great response and we are seeing now how many pledges can we get for this cause so that we can actually make a difference”

She added, “Animals are such innocent creatures as they don’t have language to communicate with. There is an immense need of pet education and animal welfare taught in school level.  India is one of the few countries who have banned animal testing but through this initiative we want ban on animal testing across the world and I feel we should have responsibility towards animals as well.

Jacqueline has line of 3 releases this year starting with ‘A Gentleman’ along with Sidharth Malhotra, ‘Judwaa 2’ with Varun Dhawan and ‘Drive’ with Sushant Singh Rajput.
