Sachin Ahir launches Mahindra_s eco car

Environmental Friendly car ‘Mahindra e2o’ at Infinity Autolinks, Parel, Mumbai. Mahindra and Mahindra today launched the most awaited Mahindra e2o (powered by Reva), India’s most advanced and true electric car. This is the biggest milestone in future of Mobility solutions by Mahindra.

Subsequent to the launch of ‘Mahindra e2o’ by M&M in New Delhi, the Hon. Minister of State for Environment and Industry, Govt. of Maharashtra, Shri Sachin Ahir had a review of the car at Infinity Autolinks, Showroom at Parel today and admired the car and appreciated its unique features including multi infotainment system with all the controls available in your smart phone . The Environment friendly Minister who has also taken lots of initiatives in promoting the Green Movement in the state appreciated the ‘Mahindra e2o’ and expressed his good wishes to Mahindra and Mahindra for taking this initiative.
Mahindra e2o is the first-in-line of next-generation global electric vehicles. The Mahindra e2o has been named keeping in mind the philosophy of going green for sustainable living.

The ‘e’ in Mahindra e2o stands for the Energy of the Sun, which is abundant and clean. The ‘2’ pronounced as ‘to’ signifies the connected technologies in the car, while ‘o’, represents ‘Oxygen’, the life force that sustains all of our existence on Planet Earth.
The Mahindra e2o uses next generation Lithium Ion batteries and have a range of 100 kms per charge, which is adequate for most daily journeys within the city. The Mahindra e2o will enable users to charge their vehicle through any 15-ampere plug point at home, or at the workplace.
The emphasis is on the emerging concept of clean and green technology owing to appalling increase in pollution levels. The car is a combination of impressive interior fitments and cutting edge electrical engineering technology.
