Actor Ishaan Khatter who is all set for release of his forthcoming film ‘Dhadak‘ said his brother Shahid Kapoor has inspired him on a personal level and as an actor.

Ishaan was interacting with media at the promotional interview of ‘Dhadak’ along with her co-actress Janhvi Kapoor on Thursday in Mumbai.

Ishaan said his elder brother Shahid Kapoor inspires him and that he “always looks up to him”.”He is my elder brother. I have learned a lot from him even before he came into films. He has inspired me on a personal level and as an actor, I think he has done impressive work by proving himself time and again,”

When asked about Shahid’s reaction to the trailer of his film, Ishaan said: “He hasn’t watched the film yet. He was really happy after watching the trailer. He told me it was all good and positive and didn’t find any reason to criticize it.”

When asked if after the film their lives have changed in any way Janhvi said she it is more about the audience then us now.

“I am not thinking about my life changing or not changing. I hope that people like the film and take something away from it. I hope the film will change their lives in a manner. I took away what I could during the filming process. I got to learn a lot and now I hope i will get more chances to keep working in the industry. But now it is much more about giving about the audience then what will happen to me after the film.”
