“3 Idiots” actor Sharman Joshi graced the special screening of ‘Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz’ last night here in Mumbai. During his media interaction, Sharman expressed he is excited about the film.
Sharman Joshi – I am really excited for this film. Onir is my dear friend. I have worked with Onir in ‘Sorry Bhai’ so I am really looking forward to this film. Romance is what Onir is very good at. I am sure he has made a good film.
Talking about the direction of Onir, Joshi said, “He is lovely. His aesthetics are beautiful just the way of his storytelling and it is done with a lot of panache, style yet lot of depth to it so I am sure this film will be no different.”
Apart from Sharman Joshi, celebrities like Raveena Tandon, Dipannita Sharma, Deepak Dobriyal, Tannishtha Chatterjee and more attended the special screening of the film.
The movie is a modern-day love story in the age of social media, as seen through two primary characters – RJ Alfaaz, played by debutant actor Zain Khan Durrani, and meme artist Archana, played by Geetanjali Thapa.
The cast also includes Shray Rai Tiwari, Mona Ambegaonkar, Chandrayee Ghosh, Sourav Das, Barun Chanda and Shaheb Bhattacharjee.
‘Kuchh Bhege Alfaaz’ is directed by Onir and produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar. The film releases on 16th February – on the Valentine’s Day weekend.
