“Soorma is close to my heart”, says actress turned producer Chitrangada Singh during a promotional event.
Actress Chitrangada Singh was spotted at 92.7 Big FM Office to promote the upcoming film Soorma.
Talking about the film, Chitrangada said, “Soorma is close to my heart, we had worked on this for a long time. Despite the rain, I am here and media is here, so thank you all. On this 13th July Soorma is releasing and with a lot of love and hard work, we have made this film. It took us almost two and a half year to complete this film”
‘Soorma’ directed by Shaad Ali, stars Diljit Dosanjh as Sandeep Singh, Tapsee Pannu as Harpreet and Angad Bedi as Bikramjeet Singh.
The movie chronicles the life and struggle of Indian Ace Hockey player Sandeep Singh, especially his comeback after being shot in the spine. Talking about the film and its story she said, “It is a true story. The film is going to acknowledge a real-life hero. Sandeep Singh is a real-life hero. So far we have been looking up to the fictional hero, whose stories were penned down by filmmakers”
“But he really has lived a dramatic life, he was shot that paralyzed him and he still stood up and became the caption of Indian hockey team. The story is very inspirational and hope, everyone likes it”
The film is scheduled to release on 13th July 2018.
